Ages 14-17
Great skiers and riders move down the mountain easily and naturally, no matter what is thrown at them. Great leaders are the same with life. Learn how to coach & instruct young skiers/snowboarders while improving your skills. By the end of the program, you'll discover that you can work hard, play harder, and push your limits, all while enjoying the mountains.
- For skiers & riders that are comfortable with all chairs at The Summit/Alpental
- Ability levels 6-9 only
- Should be prepared to be responsible for three-year-old skiers
- Alpental Plus Pass is included, but not eligible for the Ikon Base Add-on.
What's Included
This program includes coaching sessions for the time shown above on the day(s) chosen. Ski equipment (skis, boots, poles, etc) is required, but not included. Alpental Plus Pass included with Winter 2025-2026 Leadership Programs.

Alpental Plus Pass is included but not eligible for the Ikon Base Add-on.
Uniform Jacket
USE FOR SEASON INCLUDED
A uniform jacket is issued at the start of the season and must be returned at the end of the program. Uniform is only to be worn during program sessions.
What to Expect
In the Morning
Learn practical leadership skills, assisting instructors in teaching kids to ski or ride.
In the Afternoon
Guided by our experienced staff, you’ll play, explore, and master how to move through snow and move through life with confidence and agility.
Invaluable Life Experience
The connections, skills, coaching, and experience gained in this program are valuable for resumes, school essays, and lead towards professional certifications in PSIA/AASI. Plus it provides a distinct advantage when applying for instructor jobs at our mountain and others.
