IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Overnight Parking Rules

Everyone is here to enjoy themselves, so be a friendly neighbor and follow these rules to ensure everyone has a pleasant stay here at the mountain.

  • Overnight parking is only allowed in the designated overnight parking areas. Each reservation has a designated parking spot. We have no overflow areas for overnight parking.

All RV’s must be backed-in around the perimeter of the lot and parked uniformly and as close together as possible. No RV’s will be allowed in the center of the lot.

  • During periods of heavy snowfall, you may be asked to move your vehicle or trailer from its location to another as directed by our Security Department. We appreciate your understanding as our snow removal teams work hard to keep our parking and overnight parking lots clear.

  • Users at Alpental (Lot 3) and Summit Central (Ski Patrol lot) are required to register and pay on-line, in advance, based on availability. All vehicles are limited to three night’s stay at a time. There is NO RV parking allowed on Sunday & Monday nights Stays of 4th night are only allowed on Sundays preceding;

    • Martin Luther King Day
    • President’s Day
    • The nights between Christmas & New year’s Eve

The three-night stay limit is intended to facilitate snow removal as well as to deter the effects of long term parking. Violators of this policy may be towed at the owner’s expense. Violators will also lose future parking privileges.

  • If you have an additional vehicle it must be registered with Summit Security. The pull-vehicle for a camper trailer does not count as an additional vehicle.

This rule is very important as additional vehicles cause congestion and make it difficult for paying guests to enter and exit the overnight parking area.

  • Washington State Law dictates that without a proper license, alcohol is prohibited in any public place (RCW 66.04.010-23 & RCW 66.44.100).

  • Contained propane heaters, pits, and grills may be used until 11pm.

  • We love our pets too, but please be responsible.

    • Owners may not allow their pet to negatively impact other guests.
    • Pets may not be on any area of the ski hill or in any buildings.
    • Owners are responsible for immediately cleaning up after their pets.
    • Dogs over 6-months-old must have current proof of rabies vaccination on their collars.
  • Loud music is not allowed at anytime. All music must be turned off during quite time, from 11pm-8am.

  • We do not offer trash service for overnighters. You must carry out your trash each day.

  • Under no circumstances will gray or black water be discharged. Violators will be prosecuted via county, state, and federal ordinances, and may be fined. Violators will also lose future parking privileges.

  • Tubes and sledding devices of any kind may not be used on any property under the control of the ski area.

If you want to tube, please visit our Snow Tubing Park. You can also sled at the Hyak Sno-Park.

  • Restrooms are available at each base area during normal operating hours. Violators of any of the aforementioned rules will be asked to leave immediately or be towed at the owner’s expense. Please make the effort to follow all of these rules out of consideration for others and to assure future parking privileges.

Failure to follow these rules or the requests of authorized ski area personnel will result in loss of overnight privileges.
