Winter 2025-26 Opening Day
The Wait is Over!
Better late than never, Winter 2025-26 is finally here! Thankfully, last week’s rain turned to snow, and this storm cycle has delivered over 22” since Thursday. With a solid base forming and a favorable forecast of more snow this week, we can finally make the announcement you’ve been waiting for…
We’re excited to kick off the 2025-26 season this Tuesday, Dec. 23rd, at Summit West!
We can't wait to get you back on the snow at your home mountain! Scroll down for important details.
Limited Operations
As usual, lifts and terrain will be very limited for opening due to snow coverage. At the moment, we expect to have Pacific Crest and the Upper Carpet running. Our team is working hard to get more lifts into the mix, so stay tuned for lift updates in the coming days.

Tickets & Ikon Reservations
Lift ticket and Ikon inventory will be very limited until we can open more areas. Be sure to book early, as popular days may sell out.
Tickets cannot be purchased at the mountain if we are sold out online.
First Chair Prize
The first four people in line at Pacific Crest will receive an exclusive prize. Will you be one of the first to get there?

More Opening Information
We’ll be running Summit West only until there’s enough coverage to open Summit Central. Hopefully, it keeps snowing this week so we can get Central open soon.
- Night skiing is dependent on improved coverage because it’s more difficult to see hazards at night. If it keeps snowing we may be able to start night skiing at West as soon as this weekend.
- Alpental needs at least a couple more feet of snow, so we don’t have a timeline for it yet.
- Summit East and Nordic will not open on the 26th as originally planned. Opening there is now TBD, as soon as we have enough snow.
- Tubing Park opening is still TBD.
Stay tuned for updates as the snow piles up! You can see our planned hours and schedule for each Summit area on the hours page. Keep in mind that our schedule can change, so always check it before leaving home.
