The best young skiers and boarders throw down on legendary Alpental terrain at the Pacific Northwest Jr IFSA Championship.
March 24-26, competition day is Saturday
The Alpental Freeride Öpen is a youth based freeski and snowboard competition that is held on the chair line of Chair 2 on Alpental’s upper slopes. This will be a scored IFSA Junior regional championship event. An IFSA membership is required for all participants this year. Membership can be purchased directly from the IFSA website in annual and single competition increments. Upon check in athletes will be required to present current proof of insurance and a signed release of liability in order to gain entry to the competition.
Open to skiers and snowboarders
Friday - optional venue inspection. Saturday - Competition day, Sunday - weather day. Athlete check-in starts Saturday morning in the Denny Mountain Lodge, followed by a mandatory competitors meeting and course inspection. Competition starts at 9:30am.
