Alpental Masters

Eight Week Adult Race Training Program

The masters program is designed for advanced and expert skiers that are looking to challenge themselves and continue to improve their technical and tactical skills.  The program is a great training tool for skiers that compete in PNSA Masters races around the Northwest.  Alpental Masters is also great for high level recreational skiers looking to advance their skills or for ex-racers just looking to get back into the gates for fun.

Eight Weeks of Evening Training Sessions - 7pm to 9pm

  • Tuesday Nights: $325 - Fully coached session. (starts Jan 6, 2015)
  • Wednesday Nights: $275 - Gate bashing session.  For skiers that just want to run gates without coaching. (starts Jan 7, 2015)
  • Thursday Nights: $275 - Gate bashing session.  For skiers that just want to run gates without coaching. (starts Jan 8, 2015)

Two nights for $375 or all three nights for just $420!

Headed up by eight-time Masters World Champion Knut Olberg and his experienced crew of coaches, the Tuesday night program is a crowd favorite.  While the Wednesday and Thursday night sessions don't offer the feedback that Tuesday night offers, the courses are still set up, maintained, and monitored by our coaches.

Masters Update:

Although mountain ops has been working very hard to try to move snow around in an effort to maintain some semblance of a skiable surface, conditions preclude our ability to conduct training in earnest at the moment. If you have been up to the mountain at all, we’re sure you will agree. In an effort to maintain snow and manage the safety of all mountain users, we have limited night operations across the board.

What this all means is that we currently do not have a definitive date for starting the program. We will definitely keep you apprised of any change in this situation. If and when we do get up and running properly, we have been talking about several different options to help get you in the gates as much as possible.

Please keep checking the website for updates, and… well, to be honest… maybe we should all simultaneously stop snow-dancing… Or, maybe we all should trade our race training for ball room dance training, if you catch my drift. I don’t know about you, but I certainly have 2 left feet.

Thanks for your continued patience! On behalf of myself, Deanski, Knut and the rest of the Summit, we truly appreciate you all and we hope that you are finding ways to make some turns this season. For those of you that are heading off to competitions across the region, state, and nation, we wish you all the very best of luck!

The Masters Slalom Camp has been postponed. Once we have determined an alternate date we will update this page.
