J.D. Thompson is one of Washington's premiere skiers and is a Summit Syndicate legend. He's known for winning the Sick Bird award in Big Mountain competitions. Will Curchin cut his teeth skiing the icy slopes and bump runs of Vermont before moving to the northwest via Alta-Snowbird. He loves shrimped-out flips, hot doggin, and shredding with good company on deep days. In Vermont he has coached freeride, ran the University of Vermont's Ski and Snowboard Club, and was a member of the Freestyle Ski Team.
Caleb Cole likes to ski switch anywhere he can, in powder or bumps. He enjoys competing and watching other athletes compete in big mountain skiing. Caleb has been coaching Freeride/freestyle lesson for 7 years, "One of my favorite things to teach for beginner or advanced skiers is how to spin around in a full 360 staying on the ground, any one can do freeride/freestyle."
Corey Nugent grew up in West Seattle, so it was a natural fit for Corey to start his life on snow at Alpental. Now, a decade and a half later he not only calls Alpental home, but is also a Summit Syndicate rider as well as a lead coach for Alpental Freeride. You can find Corey shredding, flipping, and spinning anything and everything on the mountain.
