Private Lessons

A private lesson is a great way to get immediate feedback and improve your skills. Whether you're learning for the first time, want to polish your turns, or are looking for a guided adventure, we have the instructor for you.

We require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice to reserve Private Lessons. But if you're the spontaneous type, drop by The Summit Learning Center and inquire about the availability of a private instructor. Skiing, snowboarding, and telemark lessons available.

For the best value in in private lessons, purchase a Private Lesson 3 Pak. Each 3 Pak includes three discounted one-hour private lessons. Private Lesson 3 Paks are transferable. 3 Paks must be used during season of purchase. Reservations are recommended before each lesson.

Reservations are strongly recommended to ensure lesson availability. You must contact us a minimum of 48 hours in advance to make a private lesson reservation. Our busy weekend and holiday periods book-up early, so be sure to plan ahead.

Private Lesson Reservation Policies & Information

• Reservation students must be checked in prior to the lesson start time.
• Students requiring rental equipment for the private lesson must check-in at least one hour prior to the scheduled lesson start to allow time to get fit for gear.
• Students not requiring rental equipment will need to check-in at least 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time.
• Students should allow plenty of extra time to check-in on busy weekends and holidays.
• Reservation students arriving after the scheduled lesson start time will lose the reservation and will be charged for the full amount of the private lesson (or debited the Private Lesson 3 Pak equivalent). A student arriving after the scheduled lesson start time will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We will make every attempt to get you or your student into a lesson, at no extra charge, if instructors are available.
• Reservations must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Reservations may be placed by contacting our Learning Center team at 425.434.6700, or in-person at our Learning Center locations at Summit West, Summit Central and Alpental (on scheduled operating days).
• NEW for 2006.2007! Save your valuable time for better things. Complete an online Reservation Request form (coming soon!). Our reservation staff will contact you to confirm lesson availability and to complete the reservation.
• Reservation Cancellations: To cancel a reservation, please call our Summit Learning Center office, 425.434.6700.
• Reservations must be cancelled a minimum of 24 hours prior to the lesson start to avoid a cancellation fee.
• Reservations cancelled within the 24 hours prior to the lesson start time will be charged a $30.00 cancellation fee.
• Reservation students arriving after the scheduled lesson start time will lose the reservation and will be charged for the full amount of the private lesson (or debited the Private Lesson 3 Pak equivalent). A student arriving after the scheduled lesson start time will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We will make every attempt to get you or your student into a lesson, at no extra charge, if instructors are available.
• In the event of closures of Interstate 90 or The Summit at Snoqualmie, we will automatically cancel the student reservation at no cost.
