Burton Learn to Ride (LTR)

The Burton Learn To Ride program was developed in 1998 by Burton and snowboard instructors worldwide to make learning to ride easy and fun. Our goal is to provide the best initial snowboarding experience to beginners so they return to the mountain to snowboard again and again.

By using a proven instruction method and Burton equipment created specifically for beginners, Learn To Ride is a specialized program for those seeking to progress to the next level. Our equipment for beginners is tailored by gender and age to maximize each individual's learning potential.

Our work with instructors and resorts around the world has helped to create ideal programs and environments that foster a positive learning to ride experience at our partner resorts. The program, now in its seventh year, has expanded into specialized centers for adults, kids, women, and freestyle riders. Although we have expanded, our sole mission to provide the most positive learning experience with smaller class sizes and specialized equipment hasn't changed.
