FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Outdoors for All, an organization based in Bellevue, Washington, first partnered with The Summit more than 28 years ago to provide children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to ski. Now expanded to a year-round program, Outdoors for All allows participants the chance for outdoor recreation regardless of their ability level.
“Snoqualmie Summit was the key business that allowed our mission to begin. Our organization literally would not exist were it not for The Summit,” said Ed Bronsdon, executive director for the Outdoors For All Foundation. “It's an exceptional partnership-and today, we wouldn't be transforming the lives of over 2,000 children and adults through year-round outdoor recreation were it not for The Summit at Snoqualmie.”
Another key relationship maintained by The Summit is with The Service Board (tSB), a Seattle-based organization that provides at-risk youth with life-changing experiences while emphasizing public service. Each winter, tSB participants enjoy snowboarding and winter activities at The Summit.
“The Summit was the first ski resort to fully embrace The Service Board (tSB) by providing lift tickets and open arms,” remarked Nate Moxely, executive director for The Service Board. “The Summit holds special memories for many of our participants as the place where they first learned to ride a snowboard.”

Beyond hosting events and groups, The Summit is also very dedicated to supporting local health and educational organizations such as The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Seattle's Children's Hospital and local school districts. Throughout the year, donations in the form of lift tickets and season passes are made in support of their own fundraising efforts.
