Women of Winter

The Summit is proud to announce the creation of a new group at the resort, dubbed Women of Winter (WOW). The WOW program was designed to bring women of all ages and ability levels together to share fun, fitness, fresh air and camaraderie on the slopes. WOW hopes to provide an enjoyable, relaxed and pressure-free experience; the perfect mid-week morning getaway!

When: Every Thursday morning from 9am-12pm, beginning January 22nd, 2009

Where: The group will meet at our Summit Central base area, just off the edge of the plaza by the Summit Learning Center. Look for the Women of Winter meeting area sign

How Much: WOW participants will receive discounted lift tickets on Thursday mornings, just $30 to ski/ride between 9am-12:30pm (available at Summit Central only). You MUST print out the coupon below and present it at any Summit Central ticket window in order to receive the lift ticket discount.

Gear: If you need to rental gear, equipment is available at Summit Central's Rental Shop. Daily rates can be found here. Please arrive early enough to get equipped before meeting the group at 9am (rentals opens at 8:30am).

Snow Play: The Summit will be offering a Snow Play program for children during the same time frame. The program will offer a secure fenced snow play area and supervised care. Here are the specifics:

• WOW program participant children only
• Must have reservation (call 425-434-7669 ext. 4500)
• $10 per hour
• Only available on day of program
• Maximum of 10 spots available
• 18 mos. old and up; out of diapers/pull ups OK
• The snow play area is located at the Kids Corral located on the first floor of the rental building at Summit Central
