| COACHES’ ASSISTANTS – SUMMIT WEST (Registration Closed) | |

| This is the first step to becoming an instructor. Half your day is spent assisting with a class of real students. The other half is spent skiing or riding with your personal coach. This program develops teamwork, self-esteem, teaching skills, and improves your own skiing or riding skills. You’ll be exposed to parks & pipes, racing, ski patrol, and much more! Coaches’ assistants receive and Unlimited Big S Pass, a uniform for the season, and use of our Summit Learning Center Instructor Locker Rooms and Instructor Training Clinics. Successful candidates who are at least 16 years old are offered teaching positions with The Summit Learning Center upon completion of the program. Work experience and training can be used for school credit. | |

| Snowplay is a friendly and gentle introduction to snowsports. Children spend time with our snowplay staff, who provide supervision and fun, both outdoors and indoors. | In the Alpental Leadership Program you’ll discover the great skier or rider—and the great leader—already in you. Great skiers and riders move down the mountain easily and naturally, no matter what is thrown at them. Great leaders are the same with life. In the morning you’ll learn practical leadership skills, assisting instructors in teaching kids to ski or ride. The rest of the day, guided by our experienced staff, you’ll play, explore, and master how to move through snow and move through life with confidence and agility.
