| ALPENTAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM | |

| In the Alpental Leadership Program you’ll discover the great skier or rider—and the great leader—already in you. Great skiers and riders move down the mountain easily and naturally, no matter what is thrown at them. Great leaders are the same with life. In the morning you’ll learn practical leadership skills, assisting instructors in teaching kids to ski or ride. The rest of the day, guided by our experienced staff, you’ll play, explore, and master how to move through snow and move through life with confidence and agility. By the end of the program, you’ll discover that you can work hard, play harder, and push your limits, all while enjoying the mountains. Each participant will receive a uniform jacket to wear for the season. Program attendance required to maintain pass privileges. Snowboarding slots are limited; priority will be given to second year ALPys. | |

| Spend your day shredding the park with the Northwest’s best park coaches. Snowboard students must be intermediate or above, ages 8 through adult. Riders will be grouped with others of similar age and ability. | |

| SKIING THE STEEPS AT ALPENTAL – WITH WASHINGTON ALPINE CLUB | |

| Weekend intensive session to help you master Alpental’s steep and ungroomed terrain. Over the course of the weekend, classes will cover the expert terrain on the upper chair and into the backcountry (conditions permitting). To enter the backcountry students will need to review the Alpental Backcountry Safety page and have registered for an Alpental Backcountry Card. Students must have avalanche safety equipment (beacon, shovel, probe) and have the equivalent to avalanche awareness and companion rescue training to go through Alpental’s backcountry gate. Overnight accommodations at the rustic and charming Washington Alpine Club cabin along the Alpental road are included. | |
